Notice: Your Studies at WWES Are on Hold
Last updated: October 2, 2025
What Happened?
You are seeing this notice because your account has been placed on the AI-Case Waitlist.
At WWES, learning means thinking, processing, and expressing ideas yourself. If AI writes your work, it does not contribute learning and it’s no longer your thinking or theology. That’s why we automatically screen all submissions using multiple layers of AI-detection. When enough of a student’s submissions are flagged as AI-generated, the account is suspended and moved to a watchlist; in moderate or unclear cases a warning may be issued.
If advanced screening (which costs the seminary additional resources) confirms systematic or concealed AI use, the account is permanently suspended and placed in a comprehensive review queue. At that stage, all past submissions are re-analyzed and scored for probability of AI use.
In rare cases where a student can document strong, pre-AI academic work of high quality, a review panel may consider the evidence.
Important notes
-
Scholarship students who violate the policy should expect very low priority for grievances. Reviews and final decisions can take several months or more.
-
The best way to avoid this situation is simple: do not use AI tools in your academic work.
-
The AI watchlist address is not monitored. Further messages from suspected violators are automatically filed to the AI-case waitlist queue.
Thank you for understanding our commitment to authentic learning and formation.

Policy Basis: Compliance and Record-Keeping
Per the WWES AI Policy (effective March 22, 2024), WWES maintains a Zero-Tolerance Policy for AI-generated submissions. Submitting AI-generated text as original work constitutes academic dishonesty and is treated on par with plagiarism.
Policy foundations and consequences
-
Detection & Watchlist: Multiple-layer AI detection is applied automatically to all submissions. When sufficient flags accumulate, the student is placed on a watchlist; warnings may be issued in moderate cases.
-
Advanced Review & Suspension: If advanced screening confirms systematic or concealed AI use, the account is suspended and moved to a comprehensive audit. All historical submissions may be re-evaluated.
-
Systematic Cheating: Sustained or concealed AI use may lead to suspension without amnesty and restrictions on transcript issuance, as provided in policy.
- Communications: The AI waitlist address is not monitored. Further correspondence from suspected violators is auto-filed to the AI-case waitlist queue.
-
Processing Time: Case reviews may require several months or longer due to evidentiary and audit requirements.
-
Opt-Out: Students who do not accept these terms may request account cancellation as outlined in the policy.
