From a first certificate to a Master’s degree, studied online alongside your ministry.
We do not offer doctorates (PhD, DMin, ThD), the MDiv or the ThM.
All courses, with their textbooks, are listed in the course catalogue.
All these programs exist today; their WWES Online 3.0 versions are being completed year by year. New undergraduate students start in WWES Online 3.0, our new study model, and its first courses are planned to open by 1 December 2026.
Studying takes real dedication: steady reading and writing, week after week. WWES is built for phones and weak connections. You need a phone or a computer, a Google or Microsoft account to sign in, and an internet connection from time to time. Quizzes and exams need a steady connection while you take them. For the Year examination, plan to need a computer, or find a local WWES branch, our training partner on the ground.
Every student has a ministry mentor: a mature believer who walks with you through your studies, in your own church and ministry.
Your mentor meets you regularly, about every three weeks, sees your ministry in practice, reads your journal and notes, and grades your practicum with the practicum rubric. What counts is how you serve, never results: conversions or growth are never a condition of your studies.
Your mentor may supervise (proctor) your Year examination. A mentor never marks your examination.
Your mentor watches over your progress and cheers you on, especially when study and ministry feel heavy. For the Bachelor of Theology, your mentor also confirms your ministry practice in Year 3: teaching or preaching, leading an ongoing task, serving under your church’s leadership.
We announce dates when they are set.
