Apply to WWES

One online application, read personally by our Selection Committee. Open and affordable: financial aid is requested in the same form.

Apply online with Google or Microsoft.

Sign in at my.wwes.ca with your Google or Microsoft account and fill in the application form. It takes about 15 minutes. Financial aid is requested in the same form. Later you can sign in again to see the status of your application.

No Google or Microsoft account yet? You can create one with your own email; you do not need a new Gmail address.

Before you apply.

Who can apply

Christians who serve in leadership or teaching in their church or ministry, and who can read and write English well enough to study. Simple English is welcome: we assess what you understand, not your spelling or grammar.

What it costs

Open and affordable. Christian leaders and teachers with limited means can receive financial aid of up to 100%; you request it in the same application form, and the admission email tells you the decision. Check if you are eligible for 100% free studies. Aid does not cover travel, living costs, a device or internet.

Write it yourself

Everything you submit must be your own work. Text produced by AI tools or copied from elsewhere is not accepted, and submissions are screened. Our AI policy.

Your ministry mentor

During your studies a ministry mentor oversees and grades your practicum, may supervise your examination, and encourages you. Think early about who could be your mentor: a mature believer in your church, recommended by your church leader. More about mentors.

What your studies are worth

WWES provides private theological education and is registered as a society in Nova Scotia, Canada. Whether another school, church or employer accepts our studies is their decision, so please check with them first.

What happens next.

  1. The decision comes by emailFrom the WWES Selection Committee, with the subject “WWES Admission Decision” (sent from mailer@wwevangelical.ca; please do not reply to it, write to the office instead). Check your Spam and Promotions folders.
  2. Every new student starts in the WWES CommonsThe welcome area of WWES Online 3.0 on moodle.wwes.ca, signing in with Google or Microsoft. From there we guide you to the courses of your program. The first courses for the Certificate, Diploma and Bachelor of Theology are planned to open by 1 December 2026. Second BA courses open step by step later; there is no date yet. First steps.

If nothing has arrived after 7 days, write once to office@wwevangelical.ca from the email you applied with.
